Saturday Drive To Waterville
Today I took Max for a drive to Waterville. The "excuse" was to look for a historical book on the early days of the Waterville area. My cousin Shirley says her Grandfather (on Dottie's side) and his family spent some time in Waterville but she's not sure what the connection is. So, I bought the book "Beginnings" about the early settler days, hoping there was something in there. We'll see.
The first picture here is a bronze statue of a "water-witcher", which is in front of the local museum. The second photo (with Max in the middle) is the end of the museum building with a mural painted on the end. The third photo is of a painting on the end of a local barn, advertising "Dr. Pierces Golden Medical Discovery".
